Version is a new project comprising; Charles Webster, Martin ‘Atjazz’ Iveson and supreme vocalist Emilie Chick.
They make super sweet music together, soulful yet fresh, tasteful yet meaningful….all in all… there sound is super classy, funky and contemporary.
As an act they have so far released 1 single….”the brighter side’…which received rapturous reactions and countless plays and compilation licenses worldwide….a new single is ready for release in febuary 2010 with mixes by Version and the mighty Fish Go Deep.
As well as there own releases they have also remixed as Version for some of the hottest labels around…Innervisions, Sonar Kollektiv, Defected, NRK, Mantis, Miso, Freerage amongst others.
A main feature if the Version concept is, live performance, a Version live show consists of many facets, songs, great grooves, great vocals (Emilie is the new, great house vocalist in waiting, soon to be waiting no more) re-worked Version remixes performed live, dj sets from Charles and Martin, live visuals…everything in fact…not just the usual couple of geeks with laptops…a full evenings top entertainment for all !
